There are four lights.

The other day, at a cafe, I overheard a server say “There are four lights.” My ears perked up, although listening further, I realized it was in reference to four actual lights that existed somewhere in the cafe. I had to explain to a friend with me what I had noticed, and how it was a reference to a really good Star Trek TNG episode. Then I saw her blank stare and knew I was alone there.

But were there really four lights?  Are you sure there weren’t FIVE LIGHTS?!
