PANDA DRILL IS COMING FOR YOU! It is a little known fact that Star Trek IV was originally about Earth being threatened by giant space-dwelling Panda Drills, so that the crew of the USS Enterprise have to go back to 1980’s San Francisco in a stolen Klingon Bird-of-Prey and rescue two breeding pandas to bring back to the 24th century.  That was ultimately decided to be ‘too silly’ and they went in an entirely different direction.
